Exposure : The „Mont Joyeux” is a 52 ares parcel, planted in Chardonnay. It is located in the commune of Taissy, bordering Ludes. Its terroir is mostly chalky, classified as Premier Cru. Its exposure is South-East.

The fall and winter of 2015 were wet and mild with high rainfall. And fortunately, because an exceptional dry
period, from mid-April to mid-August, will follow.
As the harvest approaches, the rain returns and swells the berries. The harvest is done with the return of the sun, under a cool weather in the morning and pleasant in the afternoon.
• 100% Chardonnay
• No malolactic fermentation – Aged in oak barrels
for nearly 8 months
• Maturation on lees for a minimum of six years in a
chalk cellar
• Dosage of 8 g in Brut for a balanced wine – with a
minimum of six months disgorgement.

Visual Aspect : A clear and luminous yellow, a fine and elegant bubble.
Nose : Clear, fine, very elegant, with aromas of white flowers and some notes of vanilla, due to the ageing in casks.
In the mouth : A frank and mineral attack, aromas of crunchy peaches and acidulous melon. A long, round finish with notes of citrus fruits, mandarins.
